The technology

What makes Soprano Titanium different?

Three wavelengths, In-Motion delivery and ICE Plus cooling, explained without the jargon.

Soprano Titanium brings together several technologies in one hair-removal platform. Understanding what each does helps you ask more useful questions at a consultation.

Three wavelengths, together

Alma’s 3D technology delivers 755 nm, 810 nm and 1064 nm wavelengths through one applicator. These have different absorption and penetration characteristics, allowing the combined treatment to address different structures and depths within the hair follicle.

The numbers describe light wavelengths. They are not three treatment levels to choose from, and they do not mean every hair or skin condition will respond equally well.

What In-Motion means

With SHR In-Motion treatment, the practitioner moves the applicator across a defined area in repeated passes. The aim is to build up heat gradually within the treatment area.

Technique, energy and the choice of applicator remain practitioner decisions. Ask how those decisions will be made for your skin, rather than comparing devices on a specification alone.

Why cooling matters

ICE Plus continuously cools the skin surface during treatment. Alma presents this as a key part of the platform’s comfort features.

Cooling does not make consultation unnecessary or remove every risk. Your experience depends on your skin, the area and the treatment settings. Tell the practitioner how the treatment feels throughout the session.

Bring it back to you

Before committing, ask what makes you a suitable candidate and what improvement is realistic for your chosen areas. A good explanation should connect the technology to your own treatment plan, including preparation, aftercare and review appointments.
